# Race overview & settings

> Edit one race in detail.

Clicking a race opens the **Race overview** at `/organizations/[id]/events/[eventId]/races/[raceId]`. The Race nav has tabs for **Overview**, **Registrations**, **Pricing**, **Waivers**, and **Results**.

## Editable fields

* **Name** and **format**.
* **Categories** — add / remove / rename. Removing a category that has registrations is blocked; reassign first.
* **Capacity** — total seats (across categories).
* **Gender restriction** — `open`, `male`, `female`.
* **Team relay** — toggle.
* **Registration disabled** — manual kill switch for this race.
* **Cutoff days** — close registration N days before start.
* **Explicit close** — exact close date/time.
* **FAQ** — race-specific Q\&A rendered on the public race page.
* **Info links** — extra resources (rule book, course map).
* **Contact** — name / email / phone shown on the public race page.

## Recent registrations panel

The right rail shows the last few registrants in this race with their bib, paid amount, and status. Click any row to open the registration editor.

## Save & discard

Any edit shows the **Save** button. Navigating away with unsaved changes prompts a confirm modal.
