Every image on Time2Bike — org logos, event banners, gallery photos, product shots, sponsor logos — is uploaded the same way: click the field, pick a file, done. There’s no media library to keep tidy. Images attach to whatever you were editing.

What to upload

Limits: 5 MB per image. PNG, JPEG, WebP, or GIF — plus SVG for logos.

Alt text

Every image field asks for a short description. It’s read aloud to riders using a screen reader, and search engines use it too. One plain sentence: “Riders climbing the fire road at sunrise.” Not “banner” or “image1”.

Replacing an image

Upload a new one over the top. The old one stops being used immediately.
If you replace a banner and still see the old one, refresh the page — your browser is showing you its cached copy. Riders loading the page fresh get the new one.

Deleting

Removing an image from an event or product takes it off that page. If you need a file taken down entirely — you uploaded the wrong photo, or someone asked to be removed — contact support and we’ll purge it.

Making banners look good

  • Shoot wide. Banners are cropped tighter on phones, so keep the subject near the middle.
  • Avoid text baked into the image. It’ll be unreadable on a phone, and screen readers can’t reach it.
  • Bright and high-contrast wins. Your banner is the preview image when somebody shares your event on social — it’s competing in a busy feed.
