!!-IMAGE-NEEDED-!! — Team Members page: roster rows with role dropdowns, consent toggles, and the Emergency sheet button.
The two role systems
Teams have two independent role systems. Both matter, and they’re set in different places.Team role — who can change the team
Set when someone is invited, or by promoting them.Roster role — what someone does on the team
Set per person on the roster, with the dropdown on their row. These do not have to match. A head coach who is a plain member with the
roster role coach has everything they need to schedule practices, run the
timer, and see emergency contacts. They just can’t change the team’s settings.
Statuses
Confirming a staff claim
Someone who joins with the rider code but picks Coach or Manager lands as invited. They’re on the roster but count for nothing — no dues priced, no placement chased — until an admin presses Confirm as coach (or manager) on their row. This is deliberate. A rider code that anyone can pass along must never be able to mint a coach on a youth team.Fixing someone’s role
Admins get a dropdown on every row: Athlete / Coach / Manager. Change it and it saves immediately.Admin-register consent
Each member has a Consent toggle. When it’s on, team admins can register that member for races in one batch checkout rather than each family doing it separately.- Members and their parents control this — it’s opt-in.
- It’s shown on every roster row as
Admin-register: allowedoroff.
Opening a rider
Click anyone’s name to open their detail panel. What you see depends on who you are:- Coaches, managers, and admins see their contact and emergency information.
- Anyone can open their own profiles.
- A plain member clicking a teammate gets nothing — the row isn’t clickable, rather than opening an empty panel.
Adding your own riders
If you own a rider profile that isn’t on this roster, a prompt appears at the top of the Members page: Add to roster. One click.Removing people
- Admins remove anyone with the trash icon on their row.
- Anyone can take their own profiles off with Take off roster, whether or not they’re an admin.
The emergency sheet
The Emergency sheet button at the top right of the roster opens one printable page with every athlete’s emergency details — built for standing at a trailhead with no signal. See Emergency & medical info.Next
