create an account — it takes a minute and
it’s free.
Join with a code
1
Go to time2.bike/join
Sign in if you aren’t already.
!!-IMAGE-NEEDED-!! — The /join screen with the empty code box.
2
Type the code and click Look up
Codes look like
ABCD-1234. Capitalization doesn’t matter.Time2Bike works out on its own whether it’s a team code or a league code —
you don’t have to know which one you were given.3
Pick who's joining
You’ll see every rider profile on your account. Tick each person who is
joining this team.A parent signing up three kids ticks all three here and does this once.
If someone isn’t on your account yet, click Add someone and create
their profile without leaving the page.

4
Set each person's role
Under each name, pick Athlete, Coach, or Manager:
- Athlete — races for the team.
- Coach — runs practices, manages riders.
- Manager — paperwork and logistics, doesn’t coach.

Click Join
You’re on the roster.
If the team races in a league
Right after you join, Time2Bike checks whether the team races under a league. If it does, you’ll be shown what’s still owed — dues, agreements to sign, consent — right there on the page, rather than leaving you to discover it the morning of a race. You can finish it then, or come back to the team page later. Either way, it has to be done before that rider can start.Join with a link
A link liketime2.bike/join/ABCD-1234 is the same thing with the code filled
in. Open it, sign in, and you land straight on the “who’s joining” step above.
Any member of a team can share this link — you don’t have to be an admin to
recruit the next rider.
Accept an email invite
A team admin can invite you by email. Open the email and click the link — it signs you in and adds you. See Accepting an invite for what the different kinds of Time2Bike invites do.Apply to join
Some teams review who joins. Those teams have an Apply to join button on their public page attime2.bike/team/[slug].

Teams that only want riders won’t show the choice.
4
Work through the form
Teams build their own form, so this varies. It may be one page or several,
with text answers, multiple choice, numbers, and file uploads (a photo, a
signed form, a certification).
