!!-IMAGE-NEEDED-!! — The Issue new token dialog with the role checkboxes visible. You can combine them. A volunteer who both records finishes and marks riders out gets Timer + Marshal.
What a timing link can never do
However you set it up, a volunteer link is limited to the one event you issued it for. Someone holding it cannot:- See or touch any other race or event in your organization.
- See registrations, riders’ personal details, or any money.
- Reconfigure the timer, change its settings, or wipe its data.
- Issue more links, unless you gave them Admin.
Organization members
Anyone who is an admin, manager, or timer in your organization already has full timing access to every event you run — they don’t need a link. While Time2Bike is in beta, all organization members have full access
regardless of their assigned role. Timing links are the reliable way to give
someone narrow access today.
Switching someone off
Open More actions → Operator tokens and click Revoke. Their device stops working immediately. Anything they already recorded stays — revoking access never removes results. Links also expire on their own after however many hours you set when you created them. Setting that to just past the end of your event is a good habit.Next
